Staying Connected at Hotels, Airplanes, and Cruise Ships
We just returned from a trip to Hawaii. This time we were on a cruise ship, so our connectivity issues were a little different from our normal road trips. We were also with a group and saw some of the issues others were having with connectivity. In this
episode we'll get back to basics, explaining the difference between Cellular connections and Wi-Fi. We'll also cover some of the oddities of airplane and cruise ship connections. Since we were within the United States for this trip, we won't be covering the issues with International Connectivity. See Episode 233: Cellular phone and data for
International travelers for International data issues.
In today's episode, we will cover:
- Improving your cellular connection
- Choosing betwen cellular and Wi-Fi
- Issues with Cruise Ship Wi-Fi
- Issues with Airplane Wi-Fi
- Increasing battery life on your phone
- Data issues with uploading and sharing photos
