Hi
Thanks for being a premium member of Geeks on Tour.
We're not talking about your lock screen code. If you know your phone's username (an email address) and password, you can use "find my phone"
if it's lost. If it's nearby, you can make it ring. Try it right now ... - First, if you're not sure what the username (email) is, here's how to find it:
Android: Settings, Accounts, Google (tap it) iPhone: Settings, tap your name at the top, iTunes and App store (you should see AppleID: xxx@yyy) - Using a computer, go to the website for find your phone and sign
in with your username and password
Android: www.google.com/android/find iPhone: www/icloud.com - once you're logged in, you'll see find my phone
If you don't know your password, you won't be able to Find your phone. If you don't know your password, you can't purchase new Apps for your phone. If you don't know your password, you can't properly set up a new phone. There are things you can do to recover
your account password. Do it now before disaster strikes. Episode 114 shows you how.
Questions? Join us on Thursday for Gabbing with the Geeks. We hold an informal Facebook Live session to discuss our classes. We will review episode 114, but we're open to questions on anything.
