Hi
Thanks for being a premium member of Geeks on Tour. We did something different this week, recording outside of our RV at a lovely campground in Springfiled, Illinois. In episode 144, our Beginner's Lesson is on taking better pictures with your smartphone. Some of them are practical tips like how to hold the phone when taking a photo, and others are about special things that only smartphones can do - like Panorama photos. Our #1 favorite tip is to clean the lens. Try this now: - Take a selfie (tap the camera icon, then turn the lens on yourself by tapping the icon with two arrows. when you see yourself, tap the shutter button - or press up/down volume which is also a shutter button
- Clean selfie lens - the one on the front face of your phone. Look closely at your phone, your
selfie lens is probably just a dot under the glass at the top of the screen. It probably has fingerprints on it! Use any soft cloth to wipe the glass clean.
- Take another selfie
- View both photos - I'll bet you see a difference
That's just one of 7 specific tips we give in this episode. As a premium member, you get written notes of the
episode. Here is the printable (pdf file) written class notes for episode 144. You can get the show notes from any other episode on our website, under Weekly Class.
