Hi
How to share photos using Google Photos.
If you use Google Photos it is easy to share photos with people whethere they use Google Photos or not. Episode 165 of our What Does This Button Do will tell you all about it. For a quick peek though, go ahead and try it on your phone right now.
On an Android or iPhone:
- Select a photo, then tap the share button - in image above the icon on the left is Android share, the image on the right is the iOS share button
- You should now see a screen with several options, try texting the photo by tapping on the icon of your texting app
- Enter your recipient's phone number, type an optional message, and tap the send button.
If you follow the procedure above, your chosen recipient should receive a text message with your photo as part of the message. Our 45 minute show goes into much more detail on the multiple ways you can use Google Photos to share pictures with friends. We also offer a quick tip on using your phone to count your steps, or motivate your walks.
