Hi
We are just about done with our travels to Australia/New Zealand. Our photo album is nearly complete. We will then order a photo book to be made from it. It's been great to have many of you following along and commenting on our photos. If you take trips, we think you'll enjoy making photo albums with Google Photos as much as we did.
- Take as many photos as you like. They will all be stored in your Google Photos Library
- Pick a really good photo and start your album. Open the photo on your phone, tap the 3-dot menu and choose "Add to Album" then New
- Give the album a name like "My Europe vacation" and click the checkmark to save it.
- From now on when you take a good photo that you want in the album, open the photo, click the 3-dot menu and choose Add to Album, then tap "My Europe Vacation"
- Share that album with friends: Tap the share button (or the 3-dot menu and Share) then choose Create Link.
- Copy the link and give it to anyone you want to see your photos. You can paste it into a Facebook post, or send it in an email, or post it on a website. Here's the link to our Australia/New Zealand Trip album.
Episode 119 of What Does This Button Do? explains how albums work, shows the steps to making one, and even shows how to turn your online album into a printed book. This episode was recorded after our Europe trip a couple of years ago. Google Photos is changing all the time, so if your screen doesn't look exactly like what you see in ours,
experiment a bit to find the same feature on your screen.
