In this episode of Fun with Photos, we'll show you how to make Highlight videos a couple of different ways:
- You can take multiple motion/live photos of yourself in some activity then put together a
video complete with the motion and some music
- You can take a series of photos and make a slideshow, complete with music.
Remote Shutter
Remote shutter control can be accomplished on an iPhone using your Apple Watch and the "Camera Remote" app that comes with it. For a Samsung phone, you can give voice
commands like "Shoot" or "Smile."
Live/Motion Photos
If you set your iPhone to take live photos, or your Samsung to take motion photos, then each photo includes 3 seconds of video.
Highlight Video with or without the motion
When you use Google Photos (Web version only) and
put those photos together in highlight video - there will be motion in the video along with whatever music you choose. You can also use the Google Photos mobile app to make a slideshow with music, but any motion from the photos will not be included.
