Even Propeller-Heads need a break 

We will not be on YouTube today. We are concluding our cruise thru the Panama Canal and up the west coast. We are disembarking in Los Angeles. Yesterday was the last day of the cruise and we were in Ensenada taking a tour to La Bufadora - a blow hole thru the rocks on the Pacific coast. See our photo album here.

Here is your weekly tip: How to use the new Google Photos feature called Magic Editor. You've heard of Magic Eraser, right? Magic Editor is even more magic. It's only available on the mobile app for Google Photos, but that's both on iPhone and Android.  I've been using it to simply make a photo prettier and more dramatic. In the example below notice the richer colors in the one on the right. Also, it removed all the cars and just gave us a beautiful ocean scene outside the window. I did nothing to specify this. I just tapped the Magic Editor button and chose "Stylize."

The video below gives a full tutorial on the Magic Editor. This tip today is focused on just the last feature shown in the video. Try it. Pick a nice photo in your library, something that you think looks really cool, but it could probably be enhanced. Here's another example where I just tapped on the Magic Editor button and then selected the option "Water." At first I thought the results looked fake, but now I really like it. The original photo looks plain. The enhanced one is how it looked to me that morning - magical!
