This week we recorded episode 156 of the What Does This Button Do show. It was all about using your phone to scan documents and create
.PDF files.
One of the things we cover in this episode is the fact that an app already on your phone can be used to scan. Try this now:
iOS
- Open the Notes App
- Tap the pencil icon in lower right to start a new note
- Tap the + button on the Notes
toolbar and you'll see a "Scan Document" option
Android
- Open the Drive app. It's the green/yellow/blue triangle, usually found in the Google Group of apps
- Tap the + button in the lower right, then you should see the option to Scan
