If you want to travel and explore in the wilderness, you need to prepare for being offline. Yes, there may be antennas and boosters that will help, but if you're truly in the wilderness - there is no Internet. There is no electricity either. Offline and OffGrid - that is our definition of Wilderness. We had several days of "boondocking" in the wilderness of Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado this last month, but these tips also apply to travel abroad, or staying home
in a hurricane with no power!
So, what do you do?
- Use offline maps
- Download books, music, and movies offline ahead of time
- Conserve battery power, use solar chargers
