Hi
We just wanted to stop by to say hi and give you a quick tech tip ... because that's what we do!
We will not be live on YouTube today and probably not next week either since it is Easter Sunday.
Here's a tip about making QR Codes
You see QR codes everywhere with instructions to "Scan this code to see our menu" or "Scan this code to buy tickets" or "Scan this code for directions to ..."
Have you ever wished you could make your own QR codes? You could put a QR code on a business card to take people to your website or your YouTube channel. You could put a QR code in a birthday card that goes to a video of the family singing Happy Birthday!
It's easier than you think!
On a computer, using a Chrome browser, just go to the web
page that you want to make a QR code for and click the Share icon at the right end of the address bar. That will open up a menu that includes QR code. Click that option and voila! you will see a QR code on yuor screen that, when scanned, will go to the specified web page. You can download the QR code and use it on printed or digital media just like any other picture.
Making QR codes using your phone
Here are 2 tutorial videos, one that demonstrates on an iPhone and another on an Android.
