Star your Favorite Photos, then use "Favorites" in Search
We will not be live on YouTube today. Episode 261 is scheduled for next Sunday 7/23/23. Here's my "Favorite" Tip for Google Photos.
Whenever you're looking through your photos and you see one you especially like, just click the star icon at the top. You can even select multiple photos in your library and use the 3-dot menu to Favorite them all. (unfortunately, this cannot be done from within an album.)
Add "Favorites" to searches.
Notice the 3 photos of fireworks above. I took dozens of fireworks photos and I still have all of them, but I just marked those 3 as favorites. I also have lots of fireworks photos from years past, and I've marked some as favorites. If I just searched for
"Fireworks" I'll get hundreds of photos. If I search for "Fireworks Favorites" I just get my best - a dozen or so. Watch the video below to learn more.
Try it now
Search for "Fireworks" (or whatever
you choose) and then use that view of all your Fireworks photos to select the best and use the 3-dot menu to Favorite them. Now try searching for "Fireworks Favorites." Isn't that nice?
