No Live Show - Tip on Screenshots
Happy New Year!
We're taking the day off and getting ready for our trip to Hawaii. We'll give more details plus a link to the Hawaii photo album in the upcoming newsletter.
Screenshots
Sometimes you need to capture exactly what's on your screen. What do you do? Get another camera and take a picture? While that may work, it's much better to use the device's capability to capture it's screen and make a photo out of it.
Android: press the power button and the down volume at the same time then let go. On Samsungs there is a palm swipe method, using the edge of your hand to 'scan' the screen. This must be set up in Settings, Advanced, Motions and Gestures, Palm swipe to capture.
iPhone: press the power button and the up volume at the same time then let go. If you have a phone with the round Home button, you press the power and Home at the same time and then let go.
Chris prefers the method of tap-3-times-on-the-back of the phone. This 3 tap process needs to be set up in settings:
Accessibility, Touch, Back Tap, Triple Tap and select screenshot.
In any case, the image should show up in your camera roll, photos app or gallery.
They may be in a special folder or album just for screenshots.
