What's up with Jim and Chris - the Geeks?

Happy New Year! We have big news for 2025. We will be moving away from S Florida and living on the Residential Cruise Ship called the Villa Vie Odyssey. We spent a week on board in December to see if we liked it and the answer was yes. We crunched some numbers and did some research and decided to take the leap. The plan is to board the ship in June in San Francisco. Meanwhile we have a lot of work to do to sell the house and get rid of everything. If you've been keeping a personal blog using Blogger or WordPress, I highly recommend that you back it up by producing a .pdf for a year's worth of blog posts. I've been keeping my Blog for 22 years now. It would kill me if something should happen to it online. I've been using Blog2Print to get both a hardcover printed book, and a .pdf file for every year. Blog2Print is no more. Read this article to learn about the free alternative I found.

Bookmarks: a new Member Benefit

Have you ever been on the Geeks on Tour website and watched a great video or read a helpful article, then, when you tried to find it again you couldn't? Now you can 'bookmark' it.

You'll see the bookmark button at the bottom of every post on the website. When you click it you'll have the option of assigning a category.

When you want to see a past bookmark, just look under the More... menu and click Bookmarks there. You can even share your bookmarks, using the link provided. This way you can guide someone to the parts of our website you found the most valuable.
