Files and Folders

Use Picasa to capture video from your laptop's built-in camera . It's so easy and fun to make your own videos when all you need to know is a single click from Picasa. Watch the video to see how.

Finding Past Articles

We write at least 7 articles every month.  Many people email us saying, "I think I read about Buying a New Computer in one of your newsletters.  Can you help me find that article again?"
YES WE CAN! We use our Wordpress Blogs to archive all of our articles:

Picasa Tutorials

All of our Picasa Tips (85 so far) are here.  They are organized by category which you can browse in the right sidebar.  So, if you have a question about Picasa Albums, for example, you can look at the 'Organizing' category and find several posts on the topic of Albums.  And, whenever you click on an individual post, you will see several 'Related Posts' listed at the bottom.  This is a great way to learn about whatever interests you.
If you are looking for something specific, you can use the Search box, also in the right sidebar.  Just type exactly what you are searching for, (e.g. Album) and click the 'Search' button.

Computer Tips for Travelers

All of our other Computer Tips for Travelers are archived  at this site (www.wifisavvy.com.)  You can browse thru categories like: Blogging and Websites; Boot Camp (General Computer, Safe Computing) and Get Away/Stay Connected (connecting to the Internet while traveling.)  There is also a search box at the top of the page for this site.  So, for example, several people have asked us for our '7 Tips for Buying a New Computer' - you can find it by using the search box.  This search works the same way a Google search does - just only on the contents of the site.  So, if you type   7 tips   into the search box, it will find all articles that have the number 7 or the word tips.  If you enclose   "7 tips"   with the double quotes, it will only find articles that have that exact phrase.

Happy Computing!
