Learn from Geeks on Tour on Facebook
Published: Mon, 11/21/11
Greetings !
Just in case you haven't checked out the Geeks on Tour facebook page (www.facebook.com/geeksontour), we wanted to let you know what we're doing there. Facebook is such a fast and easy way to communicate that we announce our new articles and videos there. We keep our emails to you down to a minimum, but we update our Facebook page almost daily. Lately we've been posting GOT-Jeopardy questions like:
- Picasa: You do this to a picture in order to see it's position on a map.
- Facebook: True or False - when you set up a Facebook 'Page', anyone who Likes the page can see your personal wall.
- Blogging: True or False, If you use Blogger.com to create a free blog, you can choose to use a custom domain address instead of ,blogspot, com - like www, mywebsite, com
- Streets and Trips: The folks at Microsoft have packaged thousands of points of interest into one easy-to-use file called this.
We give you a day to come up with the correct response, then we post the answer. Sometimes a lively discussion follows. If you Like Us on Facebook, you will see our notices on your own Facebook News Feed. If you don't use Facebook now, you might be interested in learning with our Facebook Tutorial Videos.
New Tutorial Videos in our Learning Library: We've been busy! We have new videos about Blogger's New Look, the Rand McNally TripMaker GPS, How to import pictures from your Android phone to the computer, and several new videos about using Facebook with the recent changes. Reminder! Our fees go up on Jan 1, but you can lock in your low $39/year rate for years to come by Subscribing Now.
